‘dESTRUCT CONSTRUCT’ WAS an inhabitable installation and collaboration between part/WHOLE and ghalib alsaid. The concept was loosely inspired by debris mounds at industrial and construction sites, ideas of movement through Japanese zen gardens, works by Land Artists of the 60s and 70s, as well as spiritual and meditative spaces.

Viewers entered into the piece and walked around the tinted blue water basin forming movement patterns into the soft casted plaster floor.
